Antique German bisque head doll made by Johann Daniel Kestner ca. 1898-1902. Mold 164. The doll stands ca. 20.4" (52 cm) tall. Her bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "F ½ Made in Germany 10½ 164".
Brown glass eyes with fully operational eyes mechanism, original lid paint. Open mouth with 4 teeth. Original hard plaster pate. Original human hair wig.
Wood and composition body in very good condition with a red stamped "Germany 3" mark, no repair.
The doll wears antique clothing, a cotton polka-dot dress, cotton underclothes, antique leather shoes.
