This ca. 12" (30 cm) antique German bisque head doll is made by Johann Daniel Kestner ca. 1898-1902. Her bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "G Made in Germany 4½ 167". She has a small rub mark on her nose.
Brown glass eyes with fully operational eye mechanism and original lid paint. Open mouth with 4 teeth, pierced earlobes with earrings. Hard plaster pate. Wood and composition body in good condition, some paint touch up at the neck area. The body is marked "Germany".
Antique original mohair wig. The doll is wearing old clothing, cotton underwear, a silk dress and a bonnet. Leather shoes.
