Antique German bisque head doll made ca. 1890. Her bisque head was made by Simon & Halbig. The doll is ca. 20 ½ " (52 cm) tall. Her bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. She is marked "S.H. 1079 DEP Germany 10½". Some minor wig pulls around the crown rim.
The doll has big brown glass eyes with original lid paint and fully operational eye mechanism. Open mouth with 4 teeth, one tooth is chipped. Pierced earlobes with earrings. Old human hair wig.
Wood and composition body in good condition.
The doll wears antique underwear, an old silk costume consisting of three parts, silk hat decorated with flowers and leather shoes.
