Art Deco Pairpoint Reverse Painted Boudoir Lamp Signed, circa 1920’s-30’s
For your consideration is this fully authentic Pairpoint art deco style reverse painted boudoir lamp. The shade is hexagon shaped. The name of the shape of the shade is Bryn Mawr.The shade is artfully decorated with alternating panels of yellow and blue flowers and triangular shaped yellow panels. The shade is reverse painted and the background is decorated with speckled yellow paint. The base is silver plated and has molded acanthus leaves. The metal base is mounted on a square marble base. The base is signed on the circular washer on the bottom. The “P” with the diamond and the numbers 8017, Pairpoint. The overall height of the lamp is 14” to the top of the finial. The shade measures 7”w x 7 1/8”h. The entire lamp is as originally manufactured and is mint condition. No chips cracks repairs etc. The shape of the shade and the base can be referenced in the book Pairpoint by Ed and Shelia Malakoff Page 138 & 139.
