Offered for your consideration is this this magnificent plate made by Theodore Haviland Limoges depicting the famous Hotel Saint-Louis et de La Poste in Autun, Burgundy, France.
Established in 1751 as a "post-house relay", it became famous, hosting Napoleon on four different occasions; and, over 350 years, many more dignitaries.
This wonderful keepsake measures 8 1/4", and was made between 1936 & 1945, as the Limoges Mark P on the back indicates. C'est magnifique!
Condition: Wonderful, with no chips, cracks or crazing.
