Offered for your consideration...this is an oblong gondola bowl by the Anchor Hocking glass company in the sparkling Early American Prescut pattern. The glass itself is clear, the red color is from the background itself.

Popular when it began in the 60's as an affordable pretty as well as durable alternative to the more expensive, less practical cut glass or crystal. The extensive selection of accessory pieces produced by Hocking glass in the EAPC line, has enhanced its popularity and collect-ability today, especially since it was retired. This pattern is also referred to as Star of David. Great dishes for banana splits, ice cream sundaes, fruit salad, relish or even displaying potpourri!
