History: In 1904, J.K. Crowley purchased a small dairy business in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and founded the Crowley Dairy Company. In 1915, he moved his company to Binghamton, N.Y., where, now known as Crowley Foods, it is still headquartered. Today, Crowley Foods is made up of six dairy food brands that are leaders in their market areas - Crowley, Heluva Good, Rosenberger's Dairy, Axelrod, Maggio Cheese, and Penn Maid Dairy. The company is owned by HP Hood, LLC.
