Steiff begging rabbit measuring 16' to top of head, 20" in height with ears. He is made of light brown and white mohair with brown and black airbrushed detail. He has beautiful brown glass eyes with black pupils, a jointed head and moveable front paws. Straw stuffed with working squeaker, poseable ears with inside wire. Left ear has RSB. He is most likely the 50 cm size rabbit manufactured from 1951-60 and pictured on page 165 of Steiff Sortiment 1947-2003.
Great mohair coverage with just a bit of thinning on his left front paw seam, belly seam, tips of back paws. and upper back seam. Airbrushed detail remains visible around his eyes and on the inside of his felt ears. He has 3 whiskers on the right side of his nose, 2 on the left side. A wonderful rabbit in a seldom seen large size!
