This is genuine Thomas Edison wet cell battery jar. 100-3207. They were used by the railroads to power train signals. The jar is marked Corning. The porcelin lids have patent dates 1902 - 1911.. Orange N.J.
There is some wear to the lip of the jar in the form of chipping.

It measures 13" tall and the opening width is 6.75" lids measure 6.75"
