This is a 18- 19th century pine staved bucket. It has hand forged iron bands. It shows a lot of wear inside from use. This is a piggin form of bucket that was used to carry liquids. It is signed R.I. on the back top. I'm not sure of its origin . Either very early New England or possibly European. It measures 10.5 inch diameter x 13.5 inches tall bucket with overall height of 23.25 inches tall.
