A mid 19th Century watercolour portrait of a lady. It is interesting to note the subject is wearing a pair of wide beaded bracelets of the type popular in the
1830s & 40s.
The artist has used the back of an 18th Century engraving to provide the paper for the painting.
The frame is birds eye maple veneer with good colour and figure and retains it's original gilt inner slip.
It measures 42mm\ 1.66"
