This fabulous round paste brooch has a sinuous stylised floral design with faux diamonds of varying tones set in silver with a closed back. In beautiful condition, the foil-backed pastes are fantastically bright and sparkly; the largest are set in typical Georgian crimped collet style.

Diameter: 3.5cm. Weight: 12.6g. Secured with a trombone clasp which may have been a later addition in Victorian times.

The unmarked metal tests as silver.
