A stunning original Art Deco pendant in 18-carat gold, likely dating from around the 1920s and absolutely typical of the era. The round central diamond (2.5mm, approx 0.07cts) flashes brilliantly as it catches the light, beautifully accentuated by the surrounding ring of deepest black enamel. The intricate openwork design is studded with further twinkling diamonds and the whole dangles from an inverted teardrop-shape bail also adorned with tiny diamonds.
Marked 18ct on the reverse.
In very good vintage condition. Under magnification there is a little damage to the edging of the enamel ring but this is not visible to the naked eye.
We have teamed the pendant with a fine vintage nine-carat gold chain but if you would prefer to purchase the pendant separately, just let us know.
