A simple but elegant little crucifix pendant dating from the late 19th century. Set with 11 gleaming split pearls, mainly in shades of silvery grey, beautifully complemented by a delicate gold outline and framed in deepest black enamel.
The back is inscribed "Don d'Amitié" (gift of friendship in French) and bears the initials KM.
Condition: Overall sound. One of the pearls has lost some of its nacre on top. There is some damage to the enamel but it's not obvious when the cross is worn.
Size: 2.8 x 2.3cm.
