This is a opaline glass tumbler produced around 1850 by Richardson Vitrified Glass Company in England. These are fairly rare to find intact. They usually have either a famous Englishman, Sir Walter Raleigh plus a famous scene, Shakespeare's Home at Stratford on Avon. These are seen under a microscope but are too faded to read with regular glasses, the picture are in good condition. The glass is opalesent in color and without chips or cracks. 5.1 ounces, 4 1/2 inches tall by 2 1/2 inches at the base.
