This is a perfect example of the popular Jack in the Pulpit popularized by US and European Glassmakers in the latter part of the 1800s. I have had this and another piece since 1992 and definitely believe that the quality of glass reflects the Art Nouveau Movement from 1885-1915. It has a French Blue color with a dark brown on the ruffled lip. It measures 8 inches in height with a 2 3/4 inch base. I guarantee authenticity as an original hand blown piece of this era. No chips or cracks present. As you may have seen, it has a partner, similar in shape but slightly different colors.
