This pretty little thing stands just over 15 inches tall and was made in the early 1900 by Ernst Heubach. She has single stroke brows, painted eyelashes and an open mouth with 4 upper teeth. She has brown sleep eyes that have no chipping on the lids and they work well. Her blonde mohair wig is in great condition. It is the type of construction where a hank of mohair is pushed through a papier mache pate, and then the hair is glued down to the cap. It was done well and she still has lovely curls all the way around her shoulders.
She has bisque lower arms on a leatherette/oilcloth body that has a label that reads: Imitation KID DOLL Germany. Her body is in great condition as it appears to be pretty indestructible. The hands are in good condition with all fingers and thumbs intact and no chips, cracks or breaks.
She is wearing an obviously replaced dress and slip and would desperately love to find a new/old dress that would do her justice! I believe her socks and paper shoes are original, but are in need of repairs.
This item is in very good condition and is free of any breaks, odors, repairs, scratches etc.
