This little sweetie is absolutely adorable! She is about 17” long and has a head circumference of 12”. She has a bisque flange neck head, the back of which is incised: A.M. Germany 341/4. She was made by the Armand Marseille factory 1924-1928.
She has a fiber-stuffed cloth body that has some staining and someone wrote on her back as you can see in the photo, but it is in otherwise good condition. She has celluloid hands that are in excellent condition – No fingers or thumbs broken. She has painted hair and bright blue glass sleep eyes that are in very good condition and work well.
She is wearing a white gown and slip that appear to be old, but I’m not sure that they are original, and they are sewn to her. She also has a knitted wool sweater and hat that have a few moth holes but are in fairly good condition. Someone also crocheted her some leggings that are sewn to her legs and do not easily come off.
This item is in very good condition and is free of any breaks, odors, repairs, scratches etc.
