Buschow & Beck made Minerva tin head dolls starting in 1888, but this 11-1/2" doll is from the 1930s and is in very good condition.
Her head is free of any scratches, chips or peeling as some of the earlier tinheads have done. Her cloth body is a bit of a "klunker", but it was probably momma-made and is in good condition.
Her hands are celluloid and intact with no breakages or cracks.
She is wearing her original underwear that are rather crude, and a momma-made dress of black satin and lace. She is quite lovely in her mourning attire!
