Very large floral or tri feather pin pot metal is set with clear rhinestones. All stones are bright and clear.
In excellent mint condition, from my personal collection.
Signed Eisenberg Original on plaque and script S within a circle. The S is probably the stone setter's mark.
4” by 3 ¾”.
Would look amazing in a bride's hair or on her dress.
All our jewelry is pre-owned and the condition is very good to excellent with no evidence of misuse unless stated.
“Eisenberg has become a legend in Costume Jewellery. Founded by Austrian immigrant Jonas Eisenberg, it was originally a Chicago based dress company. The addition of dress clips and brooches, as an added bonus actually lead Eisenberg to "turn the corner" from garments to glitter. Oreste Agnini Ralph Singer(Raffaele Cantaluppi), founders of ORA jewellery, supplied the early brooches and dress clips. Ruth M. Kamke was one of the Eisenberg's chief designers. Unfortunately these pieces were easily shoplifted, leading the Eisenbergs to conclude that costume jewellery might offer a greater retailing opportunity than the garment trade. The rest is history! Eisenberg is credited with being responsible for separate departments devoted exclusively to the sale of costume jewellery in large department stores. Jonas' grandson Karl now runs the company, currently called Eisenberg Classics and Eisenberg Ice. These pieces are made of platinum over sterling and the prongs are hand polished. The dentelles (32-facet stones) are available only in Europe and supplied exclusively to them by Swarovski of Austria. All pieces are made in the USA, allowing them to keep strict control over production. The high level of quality has ensured the maintenance of the company's reputation as one of the world's leading manufacturers of fine costume jewelry.”
