Up for grabs is this delightful old Art Deco period Cicada ring. It's surface is encrusted with tiny diamonds and it has natural ruby gemstone accents. I counted 45 round diamonds and 21 step cut rubies. The setting is not marked. It tests for a minimum of 14k yellow gold and is white gold topped around the diamonds. Unique and wonderful, this old ring is sure to make a statement! The cicada represents resurrection, immortality, spiritual realization and spiritual ecstasy.
The ring measures about 25.24 mm's north to south, It weighs 3.5 grams. It is currently a finger size 7.75 and it can be resized by your local jeweler. There is a repair or sizing to the band in the decorative area on the left side, see last two photos. It hardly shows when the ring is worn because is falls between the fingers. The band has worn thin around the very back center as is common on old rings. I will ship this ring in the old box shown, Priority insured with signature required.
