It has a distinct six ray star in a bright direct light source. It calculates to about 4.4 carat weight. It is a blue color with a dark hue intensity. In indoor lighting it appears very dark, a dark gray blue. In outside lighting, it is blue. It is gypsy set into a solid platinum setting. Current finger size is 7 and this ring can be sized by your local jeweler. It is marked inside the band PETRI and also 99% platinum. Edward Petri moved from Paris to New York City and worked at Tiffany & Co. for several years before moving to Indianapolis. He opened his own business on Monument Circle in 1922 just before Christmas. He sold his shop in 1966.
