This is a groovy and adorable mini jug vase made in West Germany in the 1960s by Ruscha. It features the desirable and collectible orange and green “Vulcano” glaze (volcano). The vase has the original paper sticker on the bottom that reads MADE IN WESTERN GERMANY and there is a model number on the bottom which I cannot read which is raised on the pottery. The glaze on the vase has the look of molten lava.
The mini jug vase stands just over 4 inches tall (4-1/8 inches) by 2 inches wide. It is in excellent condition with no chips or dings.
This jug vase would look fantastic added to a collection of midcentury pottery and it would look so cute next to larger versions of this vase. Add this beauty to your collection of Ruscha pottery.
