Abstract design, mixed metal cufflinks (could be a fish?). Sterling silver with copper and black inlay. Marked: "popowski STERLING, HECHO EN MEXICO" with an Eagle 20". According to the great reference book by Bille Hougart, The Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks, Estela Popowski was a designer in Mexico City in the 1950's. She worked briefly as a designer at Los Castillo and also for Antonio Pineda in the 1950's. Each cufflink measures 1 1/4 inches by 11/16 inch. Excellent condition.
