This utterly charming little sterling bud vase was made by William Kerr in the Art Nouveau Period. There is raised and beautifully done chrysanthemum flower and leaves on the front of the base and a fluted top. It measures 3" high, 1 1/2 " at the base and 1.7" at the top. The weight is 1.1 oz (31g)
Marks are Sterling, The William Kerr mark and #373
The condition of this piece is very good with a beautiful patina. There are three small dings on the back of the lower base, which have been impossible to see on photographs as they are so shallow but although reflected in the very reasonable price, these do not detract from the beauty of this little vase from this famous maker.
What a wonderful wedding present this would make!
