A lovely pair of small oval silver plate Bon Bon or nut dishes with a unique pierced border. They are 'monogrammed' on the front with a lion on a crown. Mark is Prince of Wales plumes which may be EG Webster & Son, Brooklyn, N.Y. (?) which would date them to the early 1900's.
General condition is very good other than a very slight bending of 2 of the vertical supports on one dish and some spots of oxidation/tarnish which may come off with a better polish (please see photos)
They measure approximately 5.5" (14cm) in length and 4" (10cm) in width and 2cm high. Total weight is 9oz (255g)
These are an interesting pair as their 'basket' shape is quite different!
