This is a stunning Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Brooch with an interesting and beautifully crafted inlay of deep chocolate brown enamel. The design number is 314 and this quite unique piece in his collection was designed by Henning Koppel who was one of Jensen's key designers from 1945 onwards. A similar example of this beautiful brooch can be seen in the book, 'Georg Jensen Jewelry' by Isabelle Anscombe.

The 'setting' of the rich enamel is smooth perfection and the softly polished sterling has a wonderful patina.

This brooch is in excellent condition with absolutely no damage, dents or scratches and only some very light and faint surface scuffing commensurate with age and use.

Dimensions: 2.75" long x 1.25". Weight 25 grams.

This piece is stamped with the oval Georg Jensen mark surrounded by dots, HK for the designer, 925 S (for Sterling), Denmark and 314.
