A sparkling crystal controlled bubbles match striker from England circa 1955 with a cut band of cross hatching used as the striker.

The substantial weight of this design allows it to be used as a striker, a paperweight, taper candle holder or even a small posy vase. A great example of mid- century design – this makes a jewel like statement reflecting light on its own, on a mantle or a table top.
Acid etched mark on the underside ‘Webb – England’ for Thomas Webb & Son, London - a mark used between 1950 and 1966.

There are two of these in the shop but they are being sold separately. AN EXTRA 5% DISCOUNT will be applied if the two are taken together.

Measures: 3’’ diameter x 2 ½ ’’ High. Weight: 790g
Condition: Excellent with no chips, scratches or imperfections other than normal light micro-scratch wear to base.
