A charming and very delicate antique Copeland China porcelain set of a small teapot, creamer and cup and saucer in the lovely Beatrice pattern. Fully marked, this set displays beautifully either in a cabinet or on a tea tray!
Marks include Copelands China - England (used post 1847), the Beatrice pattern banner mark, Reg No 178266 and 7004/7007.
Approximate measurements are:
Body of Teapot 5 1/2 inches - Full width with spout and handle 8 1/2 inches
Creamer 3 inches high
Cup 4 inches across with Saucer 4 1/2 inches diameter
Overall condition is very good other than some slight loss to the gilding in places, a small hairline on the back of the saucer which does not show at the front, a tiny chip on the inside of the teapot lid with a possible repair to the inside 'lip' of the lid, which can be felt but not seen, and a few tiny pinhead kiln/firing marks. None of these small imperfections detract from the dainty charm of this set but are always worth mentioning.
