A most unusual JULIANA brooch in a curved leaf design with both prong-set and paste-set rhinestones and dangling faceted beads. The prong-set stones are a soft dove grey. The stones set into the stem of the brooch are clear. The dangling faceted beads are medium vitrail. It is amazing how all of these blend so beautifully against the light gold-tone setting. You can see the figure-eight puddling of the rhinestone setting near the tip of the brooch, a feature of Juliana pieces, as are the type of rivets used and the straight pinstem fastener. In addition, this unusual brooch has been verified as Juliana by being featured as #113 on the education portion of the website. This jewelry design dates to the early 1960's, and it is rather rare because of the combination of set and dangling stones. The brooch measures 3 1/2" long x 1" wide across the bottom, and shows very little wear. Perfect for the vintage Jewelry Collector or someone that enjoys collecting JULIANA jewelry.
