This is a Sterling Silver Souvenir Walla Walla Wash Rodeo Cowboy Spoon. It has wonderful detail and is a heavy spoon. It measures 5 1/4" in length. It has the early mark of the Joseph Mayer Bros. and started out in Business in 1896 and were famous for their numerous Souvenir Spoons. This embossed and detailed Spoon is figural, meaning that it has a front showing the Cowboy on a Horse Roping a Steer, down the lower part of the front of the Spoon, it has the words "Ropeup" and the bowl is embossed with the words "Frontier Days " "Walla Walla Wash " and " Let'em Kick ". The back of this spoon is embossed and detailed showing the reverse of the Spoon with the back of the Cowboy and back of the Horse, Plants, Steer's skull in the Western Desert Plains. It is in great condition.
