This is a Pair of 1890's - 1900's Victorian Beautiful Lady Portrait Plaques. These plaques measure 11 3/4" across in length. They are marked on the back with " the Beehive Vienna Mark / 1761 / 30 cm / 35 ". Many European Factories used the Beehive mark. They have 2 holes on the back with a wire to hang these plaques. These Plaques have exactly the same decorations and colors decorated, however, have 2 different Ladies on them. The decoration on these plaques is maroon / burgundy edge border with gold decoration, has a light green luster background coloring with lacey decorations on it, a gold outline around the portrait, has very muted pale colors of light blue and shades to medium blue around these beauties. 1. Plaque has dark brown hair with 2 Poppies on either side of her face, in her hair and is wearing a sheer flowing white gown. 2. Plaque has blonde ash hair with 2 Chrysanthemums on either side of her face, in her hair. She is wearing a sheer flowing gown that is white with purple. There in great condition other than a small amount of wear on the gold edge and one dark Brown haired Lady plaque has small spot on it that happened in the coloring / firing of it. It is right above the gold outline of the portrait.
