This is a Fabulous huge and heavy 1900's Sterling Silver Pierced Ice / Pea Serving Spoon. It in the original Presentation Box with the Retailers name of " Ovington Brothers in Gold Script on the inside of the lid. It has a cream satin lining that is great condition with a cream rope cord all around the bottom part. The outside of the box is not in as good as condition as the inside of the box. It does have some soiling and small spots on the outside. The very bottom has a canvas / linen leatherette material covering it. The Presentation Box measures11 1/4" long x 4 7/8" deep x 2 1/2" high and has a latch to lock and unlock the box. This server measures 9" in length and is monogrammed with a fancy script "K". It has a Maker's Trademark of " MRH " initials in the center of 3 diamond shapes. Trademark is Myrick, Roller & Holbrooke / Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In business before 1890. Out of business before 1904. This Trademark is found on Souvenir Spoons as well. the handle as well as the bowl is pierced and is decorated with 3 flowers down the the center of the bowl, rococo scrolls, in a fancy Repousse pattern.
