This is a very Large Heavy Silver Napkin Ring. It has no monograms on it. it is hallmarked with the German silver mark of a Crown & moon and as of 1884 - 1888 provides that the silverware shall bear: 1. the maker's mark registered at the Reichspatentamt 2. the fineness in figures ( marked 835s ) 3. the German mark (crown & moon ) and is of a fineness of .800 or more. ( It is also marked with the Makers Marks or the German State / or date letter / which look look W connected with a V & a S through it ) It has an applied edging on the top & the bottom. It measures 7' around, is 1 1/4' high and measures 2" across the opening. It is in great, wonderful condition with no problems.
