This is a 5 3/4" Big & Huge Figural Miner Souvenir Spoon. It has wonderful detailing on the Miner and the handle, front and back. It has a beautiful Gold Washed bowl with a fancy engraving of the Date " Jan 23rd 1907 ". The handle has a Big Miner Guy on the handle, he is holding a Gold Rock in one hand and has a Pick Ax in the other. He is wearing a Hat, a scarf around his neck, his sleeves are rolled up, is wearing a belt, Knee High Boots, has a full Beard and Mustache. He is standing on a Hugh Boulder with the words " Struck It Rich At Last " embossed on it. There is a Mining Pulley with a bucket attached to a rope that brings up mined Rocks ( hopefully Gold ) from the mine to the surface that is wound up with a Wooden Handle. and below this there is a Banner with the words " Millions In it ". on the reverse is the back of the Big Miner Guy, and the back of the big boulder he is standing on and the back of the Wooden Pulley with the Bucket. It is Hallmarked F. E. L. D. Sterling for ( F & ) E L Deacon Jewelry Company.
