This is a very heavy 1900's Sterling Silver Figural Full Figured 3D Indian Souvenir Spoon. It has a detailed embossed rendering of 2 Steamships in the Bowl. It is a very Detailed Full Figured Indian Souvenir Spoon that measures 5 3/8" in length ( the Indian measures 3 5/8" in length ). This Indian has a Headdress filled with Feathers and has a leather band around his forehead. He has (2) Long braids along with his long straight hair, He is wearing a necklace with a Medallion hanging from it. He has a Long Bow that he is holding out in front of him. He has something crossed over his body that is holding the Shield on his back or holding a Quiver of Arrows. He has a Cloth hanging from his waist that has tassels hung from it and he is wearing Moccasins. On the back of the handle the Indian has a whole bunch of Feathers and has a Shield on his back and then shows the back of his legs. It is marked Sterling with the Trademark of an "Anchor / E in a Maple Leaf / Lion" for the J. E. Ellis & Co. of Toronto, Canada. The very detailed embossed Bowl has Scenes of the " Steamer Empress of India & Pioneer Steamer Beaver, Vancouver B. C. " This spoon is in excellent condition.
