This is a Sterling Silver Souvenir Spoon of the "St. Louis Worlds Fair 1904". It measures 6" in length and is in very nice condition. The embossed Bowl has a fantastic Scene that is titled "Palace of Liberal Arts". The handle has an Eagle at the top of the tip standing on a World Globe, ribbons around a Medallion that reads "The World's Fair St Louis " in the Medallion it reads " The Mound City " and "City Seal Adopted 1823" with a Steam Boat going down the River with Oak Leaves on the sides. Oak Leaves crossed over, Portrait of Jefferson and the Louisiana Purchase Monument. The back of the handle has an eagle standing on Ribbon Bow and falls down the handle around a medallion that show a wonderful Scene of Eads Bridge, St Louis with Oak Leaves on the edges. It is marked with the early trademark for R. Wallace & Sons Company Sterling. This a wonderful historical Souvenir Spoon that is in great condition.
