This is a 1890's Fancy Figural Silverplated Napkin Ring with a Butterfly Winged Cherub. It measures 2 7/8" by 2 5/8" across the Heart Shaped Base, the Napkin Ring measures 1 1/2" wide and is 6 1/2" around the Ring, the opening of the Ring is 1 5/8" by 2", the Cherub is about 2 in length. It has a Detailed Butterfly Winged Cherub that is leaning on the Ring and leaning across on the Heart Shaped Pad, which is resting on a Wishbone. The Large Oval Shaped Napkin Ring has fancy scrolls and rococo on raised designs on the edges and is engraved "Best Wishes" on the top.The life size Wishbone goes underneath the Napkin Ring and the Napkin Ring is held up by a Chicken / Bird Claw. The base is Heart-Shaped and has a scalloped design around the Heart. It is marked Quadruple Plate Wilcox Silverplate Co. Meriden, Conn. The plating on this Napkin Ring is in very good condition, other than the lettering on the top of the Ring "Best Wishes" is worn some as well as the Wilcox Mark on the bottom is worn some.
