This is a Sterling Silver Souvenir Spoon of the "Pan American Exposition in 1901". This Spoon is 5 & 1/2" in Length. The Bowl has (2) Art Nouveau Ladies that are in the shape of the Europe and North America and their Hands are joined together representing the joining of the (2) Continent's across the Oceans. The Handle has a charging buffalo, with an American indian in full Headdress holding a Tomahawk and is holding an Indian Blanket with his hand, wrapped around him and is wearing a Pair of Moccasins. The back of the Spoon has a scene of Niagara falls and is Monogrammed " EJT 1901". the Spoon is marked on the back with an "S" with Stars on either side, Sterling Pat. and American Souvenir Co. Buffalo, NY and on the back of the Bowl it is marked " Official ". This is the early Trademark for Joseph Seymour Mfg. Co. It is quite an interesting and Historical Spoon that is in Great condition.
