This is a very Heavy Sterling Poppy Floral Paye & Baker Spoon from " Langford South Dakota". The Bowl has a Gold wash with a fancy engraved "Langford, S.D.". And the handle is the Beautiful pattern Poppy and produced in many neat and interesting items such as a Tea Strainer, a Sugar Shell, Salt Spoon, Bon Bon Spoon and a Cream Ladle that the bowl is a big Poppy Bloom,( all these pieces have a Big Poppy Bloom ), a Teaspoon and Coffee Spoon, a Pickle Fork, a Cheese Knife and a Teatte, that has a Poppy handle and a Clam Shell Tea Holder. (These pieces are pictured in a Catalog Reprint of The Warren Mansfield Co. Portland, Maine 1907-08 ) This Spoon measures 5 & 1/4" in length. It bears the Paye & Baker Trade-Mark & sterling on the back of the handle.
