This is a Little Tiny Sterling Demitasse Souvenir Spoon from the 1905 Lewis & Clark Exposition / Fair. It measures 3 1/2" in length. The Embossed Bowl of this spoon depicts "The Foreign Building 1905 Lewis & Clark Portland, Ore.". It has an American Indian Brave Portrait at the Tip of the Handle with a couple of Feathers in his Hair and his Hair is Braided. He is wearing a Necklace of animal Teeth or Claws around his neck. There is a Quiver with Arrows in it with fringe hanging from it. There is a Spear behind the Quiver and there is a Tee Pee that is decorated with wonderful Indian motifs on it. There is a Tomahawk crossed over a Peace Pipe and Ears of Corn down the rest of the handle. It is marked with the early Trademark for Payne & Baker on the back of the spoon and Sterling.
