This 1881 Victorian Covered Dish measures 8 & 1/4" around and closes up to a 6" square opening that is covered. It has very unusual Hand Painted Art Work ( a Bird is painted on the top & an outdoor scene in the bottom inside of the dish ). It's about 2" deep and has no damage . There are four little looped handles, one at each corner. It is marked " H & Co. France " on the bottom, this is the earliest Haviland French mark.
