This pre-1870's Coin Silver Sugar/preserve Spoon is unmarked, but is a minimum of 90% Silver. "Coin Silver" was made from coins that were melted and crafted into objects. Coin Silver is 90% Silver. By 1870 Sterling had all but replaced Coin Silver. It has a beautifully engraved handle and has a Gold Washed Bowl with a beautiful detailed floral Tiger Lily design. It measures 6 1/2" in length.
