This is Bisque Bowl is not marked, but we are certain that it was made by Shafer & Vader Porcelain Factory around the 1900's. This Sugar / Candy Bowl has (2) Stone Age Cave People, a Cave Man and Woman that are blown out ( dimensional ) on this bowl with their arms outstretched around the bowl and their heads are hanging out of the bowl along with a Club is sticking out of the bowl. The Cave Man's arm is skinny & long & his elbow is sticking out and he is chasing the Cave Woman around the bowl trying to catch her....Yikes! The Cave Man has a very scary looking Club with Spikes on it, in his hand and is trying to catch the woman with this Club in his hand. Yikes! He is going to knock her out, claim her as his woman and take her back to his Cave. It does have some damage on the Cave Man with the Spiked club, his head has been broken off and glued back on and has a hairline that almost goes all the way down to the end of the bottom. The bowl is a light pink, the Cave Couple have gold hair and big bulging eyeballs, the Cave Man has a very strange, wild & crazy looking grin on his face and the Cave Woman has her mouth wide open, in a big round circle and has a very frightened & scared look on her face. They have hairdos that are extremely straight and very thick hair in a short dutch style flaring out almost in a circle around their head. It is not perfect, but it is definitely a very, very unusual, strange & bizarre piece. It measures 3" tall, with the heads it is 3" and 3 1/2" high. And it measures 2 1/8" on across the top and is 2 3/8" across the bottom. Shafer & Vader Porcelain Factory started out in business C.1896 and was located in Rudolstadt, Thuringia, Germany (E. Germany ).
