This is a 1890's - 1900's Beautiful Brilliant Period Cut Glass Bowl with a Sterling Silver Rim on it. There are not many Cut Glass Bowls that have a Sterling Silver Rim on it around the edge. This one is 8" in diameter and 3 & 1/2" deep. We were able to find the pattern in one of our many research books. It is in the pattern of Flashed Hobstar and Strawberry Diamond Points and was cut by the Meriden Cut Glass Company. The Sterling Silver Rim has a trademark "WSW" which is the Wilcox Silver Plate Company's Trademark for Sterling items.
