This is an English Sterling Georgian Cream Footed Jug. It measures 4 3/8" tall, 3" across the top, the foot is 3" across the bottom, measures 5 1/4" from the top of the handle to the bottom of the foot and measures about 10" around the Jug. It is marked with English Hallmarks that are an " R" and another Makers Mark that we can not make out clearly, it has the Lion Passant, the Leopard's Head Crowned, a Capitol "P" Date Letter for 1810 and a Kings Head Hallmark for George III. Under the Hallmarks on the side of the Jug it has a engraving Portrait of a Man. It is a great really nice early 19th Century Jug that is in very fine condition.
