This Salter Has the proper Hallmarks for 1797-98. We were not able to make out the Maker's Mark. The Lion Passant, the date letter "B", the Crowned Lion for London are clearly there. The Town Mark for London is very hard to see. It had a glass liner and that is gone, but other than expected wear its in good condition. We have a pair of these but are selling them individually unless someone wishes to keep them together. If they go as a pair we will allow a 20% reduction in price. We have hand polished the one in the photograph and it weighs 207 Grams. The other is not polished and weighs 215 Grams. They both are 5 & 1/4" Tall and measure 3 & 3/8" across the top. If you have any questions fee free to ask.
