This is a 1880's Victorian Silverplated Child's Christening Mug is in great condition. It has ever so slightly signs of wear or silver loss. It measures 3 & 3/4" tall and 3 & 3/8" across the mouth. The ornate 1880's elaborately engraved Monogram that is an intertwined "CL" is a real beauty. It has a Sea Creature Shell / Snail Design. It has the Trademark for the Wilcox Silverplate Company and is further marked Quadruple Plate. The interior retains the majority of the original Gold Wash.
