This is a pair of Egyptian Motif Cast Iron Bookends. they have sufficient weight to hold books in place. They measure 4 & 1/4" wide and are 3 & 1/2" tall. The design is very handsome and would fit well in most homes decor. They were produced in the 30's when King Tut's Tomb stirred so much interest. They are in nice condition and the Gold painted surface has been on them for many, many years.
