This is a wonderful executed discontinued Royal Doulton figurine " The Potter " HN1493 designed by C. J. Noke. It is fairly large 7" Tall and has such great colorful details. Although this figurine was produced from 1932 to 1992, we would date this figurine from around the 1930's. This is an Arab looking gentleman wearing a hooded robe in browns and black colors. This most talented potter holding a paint brush in one hand and holding a Pottery vase in the other hand. There are a couple of small paint pots by his feet. He is surrounded by a number of his very delightful pottery pieces of many shapes and in an array of colors and designs. He is sitting on a cobalt blue rug with fringe all the way around it. It is in perfect condition and will delight the new owner. This figurine lists for $600.00 in our 1994 Price guide.
